Melody has a Bachelor of Science in Art and a Masters of Science in Education. For the past 25 years, she’s been an integral influence in corporate, retail and educational creative environments on both the east and west coasts. Currently, she freelances as a graphic designer, is a published artist represented by AD Lines – Eurogroup, and daily explores the joys of the creative process in her home studio in Charlotte.

Over the past 10 years Melody has experienced a transformation in her process: from independent expression, to an ongoing conversation between The Creator and The Created. In this workshop, she will share thoughts on the idea of creativity as a spiritual practice, and then guide participants in a time of prayer and painting. All supplies will be provided, and paintings ready to take home at end of class.
